Why We Take Donations
I’ve not mentioned donations often here. (I’m told I do not mention it often enough in general.)
When Lori and I started doing what we do in 1997 (yes really, way back when dinosaurs roamed the early Internet) we paid the bills for web hosting. As the costs grew, we formed a non-profit and sought help with those costs. As the amount of time we spent working on marriage ministry increased, we realised we needed to obtain some income from our efforts so we could cut back on our other jobs.
The last four years we have been intentional about moving to full time ministry. Our last non-marriage ministry job is now wrapping up, and sometime in the next two months, we will be completely supported by our marriage ministry efforts.
I bring this up today because this is Giving Tuesday. Razoo, the company we use for processing donations, is giving prizes to randomly selected groups partaking in Giving Tuesday. We will be asking for donation through the end of the year, but anything given today increases our odds of winning something extra.
Thanks for your prayerful consideration.
