Yup, tell him to go away.

For a few days.

I just got back from a weekend men’s retreat. I’m writing this before I leave so I can’t tell you how great it was, but based on previous retreats with the same group I have no doubt it was inspiring and refreshing. I got a chance to disconnect and reboot, and I was able to hear from God better than I do when I’m in the middle of my busy life. Lori says I come home a better man and a better husband, and I’m all about that.

I understand him being away for a few days can be difficult for you, especially if you have young kids. I know it may hit the budget a bit, and I know it will probably cost you some time helping him get away. But I’m sure your investment will bring you good dividends.
