I’m a big fan of Christmas. In fact, we started the Christmas music tonight. But I’m an even bigger fan of my marriage, and I don’t want to set my marriage on the back burner for the next six weeks. I want to enjoy the holidays WITH Lori. Doing that requires intentionality, controlling our schedule, and being willing to say no.

What about you? Does your marriage take a hit during the holidays? If you want something different you’ll have to fight for it.
