Some men really, really, really want their wife to orgasm during intercourse. In fact, I’ve heard women say their husband’s obsession with this has ruined sex for them. 

For the most part, a man expecting this comes from ignorance. He’s never been told the facts and porn makes it seem every woman has orgasm after orgasm from intercourse. 

I’ve heard some say this is all about a man’s pride, how making her orgasm “with his penis” makes him feel like a real man. I think that’s garbage. It’s his favourite way to climax and he wants his wife to have the same pleasure.

The reality is some women can, and some can’t, and the reason for that comes down to biology. The closer a woman’s clitoris is to her vagina, the better her chances of experiencing orgasm from intercourse alone. Past a certain distance, the chances are about zero. It’s not in your head, it’s between your legs and there’s nothing you can do to change it.

So first don’t buy the lie there’s something wrong with you, there isn’t. Then make sure hubby understands the facts. Some women learn to make this happen as they get older and more comfortable with their body and their husband, but many will never be able to do so because they aren’t built for it. Find other ways to enjoy sex, and let hubby know those ways are great for you.
