Do you know when you’re tired?
I know that sounds like a silly question, but I’m dead serious.

Many of us walk around tired most or all of the time. We wake up tired, we spend the day being tired, and we fall into bed tired. Tired becomes such a norm that we don’t really feel it. What we identify as being tired is really exhaustion.
If this is you, you need to make changing it a very high priority. This kind of living is harmful to your physical and mental health. It also hurts relationships. It hurts our relationships with our children, with our friends, and especially with our spouses.
I know, I know, you have no choice, your life requires you to be tired all the time. However, the truth is you have chosen a life of being busy, or you have allowed others to choose it for you. There are less busy options if we’re daring enough to take them. Given what’s at stake, I think radical changes are appropriate.
