Is sex a love language?

Gary Chapman, the author of The Five Love Languages, says no. He says it’s part of the physical touch love language. However, Chapman says love languages are the “ways that people speak and understand emotional love.” I know some men, and some women too, for whom that definition fits how they feel about sex.

Is Sex A Love Language?

The thing about love languages is nothing else does it for you. If you’re all about acts of service, neither expensive gifts nor extravagant date nights will make you feel loved. If your hubby is about words of affirmation, he’s not going to feel loved by a top-notch backrub. And if you or your man hear love in sex, then nothing else is going to do it for you, no matter how nice it might be.

If sex is your husband’s love language, that makes sex even more important to him, and you need to take that into consideration. If sex is your love language, I suggest you let hubby know that so he can take it into consideration.
