How is your sex life for you?
Do you get to do what you want? Do you get an orgasm when you want one (or more than one if you do that)? Do you feel your husband respects your desires and needs?

A lot of wives would answer those questions with a no. Some of those women are married to selfish men who only care about themselves in bed. However, for many of those ladies, including many who think their husband is sexually selfish, the reason is something else.
Most men hit the marriage bed running. They know what they want, and they have no problem having an orgasm. Many women are far less sure of their sexuality, and some have no clue. This can easily result in the man determining what happens in bed, with the wife having nothing more than a veto. If this becomes the norm, the woman is going to become frustrated.
Most men would love for their wife to speak up about what she wants sexually. But after a few years of that not happening, they stop expecting it. They stop looking for it, and they don’t catch any subtle hints she throws out.
You have a right to enjoy your sex life. The Bible actually says this! But if the status quo doesn’t work for you, then it’s going to be up to you to speak up and call for change. Don’t be nasty about it, but don’t be shy or apologetic either. Tell him you’ve been quiet too long, and you want to start working on making sex better for both of you. Tell him what you want, or what you think you want if you’re not sure. Keep trying until you find what works for you.
~ Paul – I’m XY, and I believe sex is for women too!
BTW see today’s TGH post for why being a bit sexually selfish will make sex better for your husband.
