How often does your husband have an erection and you don’t know it? And how often do you not know it because he’s hiding it from you?

Many husbands have experienced a negative reaction to an erection when their wife thinks they should not have one. Or the wife thinks it means he wants sex or only cares about sex.

The reality is living with a woman you love and desire leads to erections. He sees you half-naked and his penis responds, at least a bit. You snuggle up to him in bed and his penis responds. He wakes up next to you and again, his penis responds. Giving you a massage is likely to get him at least partly hard even if he doesn’t expect sex.

If allowing you to see these natural occurrences gets him grief, he will probably work to hide such erections. 

I think it’s sad if a person has to hide part of who they are from their spouse.
