What you think of your husband matters to him. It probably matters more than you know.

I hate the idea of Lori thinking poorly of me. It’s bad enough when my actions give her a reason to think that way; it’s far worse when I feel she is wrongly seeing me in a bad light.

False accusations really hurt. Even when it’s an honest mistake or a difference of opinion, it hurts when you think poorly of your husband. Odds are he won’t tell you that or let it show. He might respond with anger or he might withdraw, or he might try to pretend he doesn’t care. But he does care.
