Women are, men do. ~ Franz Kafka

I came across that statement a few days ago. I immediately thought it was right, but I had to think about it to understand why it resonated with me.

• Men usually define themselves by what they do. They do this in their own minds and when they present themselves to others.
• Men judge their life by what they have accomplished.
• Men judge other men by what they do. They don’t do this as much with women.

I don’t know if there is a valid gender difference here or not, but I know most men would say there is.
