Men need adventure. We crave it and we don’t feel right or good about our lives if we don’t have some adventure every so often. This is why some men do a lot of risky things. It’s also why some men spend every free moment gaming. I think it’s also why men tend to be more into sports than women,

I realise his desire for adventure can be inconvenient or scary. But trying to dissuade him from adventure is trying to make him something different than God wants him to be. Aside from being wrong, that won’t end well for him or for your marriage. (And your sons, if you have any.)
I can think of several reasons for you to encourage your husband to have adventures and to help make it possible:
Find a reason and get behind his adventure. Being part of the discussion also allows you to suggest safety and moderation.
