Over on TGH today I told the guys to Man Up And Be Her Valentine. There is no excuse for a man ignoring Valentine’s Day, and trying to justify that by talking about commercialism doesn’t’ fly with me. If it’s important to you, he should do it. End of subject.

That said, one of the most common complaints I hear from husbands about Valentine’s Day is the lack of sex. Many men know there is zero chance of sex on February 14th.

It’s not that sex is all they care about. But men see sex as an integral part of married love. If a wife is unwilling to have sex with her guy on a day that’s all about love and romance, that sends a message to the guy that no wife should want to send. Just as he needs to do Valentine’s Day for you, you need to do Valentine’s sex for him. And just as is true for you, the doing is not as big a deal as the not doing.
