I’ve heard women complain about their husband wanting to have sex just for release or sexual pleasure. They say it’s not romantic or that they feel used.
Sure, there are men out there who see women as things to be used to “get off” but is that really what your husband is thinking or doing? I doubt it.

To me, this sounds like a wife wanting her husband to act like a woman. She wants him to think, feel, and desire the way a woman would. But he’s not a woman. God made him a man and God gave men a strong physical drive.
Some of the best sex Lori and I have had occurred because I sought it when I was really turned on. When I say “best” I’m not talking about physically fantastic. Yes, it was usually that, but more importantly, it was deep intimate and connecting, and the afterglow totally rocked.
If you’ve ever been put off by his focus on release or physical pleasure, may I suggest your problem is with God, not your husband? He’s being who God made him to be and if you embrace that you will both be glad you did.
