I recently replaced my six-year-old phone when it died. As in no heartbeat, no hope, it’s a brick. I got a refurbished phone that’s a couple of years old. It does way more than my last phone for a fraction of what a new one would cost. Then I bought a smartwatch to go with it. I’m still into the set for less than half of any new phone, so I think I did well. The watch is not necessary, but it’s useful, and honestly, it’s fun. I’m enjoying using Google Assistant to do things for me without having to touch my phone.

It’s no a secret most men enjoy “toys”. Be it car, guns, or electronics, we like tools that go beyond what we need. I don’t know why men are more this way than woman, but we are. As long as he doesn’t break the bank, let him enjoy without making fun of him too much. (Just pretend it’s shoes or purses!) Or go even further and encourage him.
~ Paul – I’m XY, and on Monday morning my phone sang happy birthday to me and blew a kazoo, before giving me the weather.
