No doubt you know some folks like that. Most men are not big on drama and especially in their marriage.

I know some guys label necessary conversations as drama as a way of not dealing with things. If your guy is that way, I’m sorry. But those men notwithstanding, your marriage will go better if you can keep the drama down.

When I was in high school I dated a gal who was all about drama. I’m pretty sure she needed it to function, and if there wasn’t any, she would find or manufacture some drama. I kept hoping she would grow up (she was two years my junior) and get past it, but she didn’t. So I choose not to marry her. And from then on when I looked at women, high drama content was a deal-breaker.

Some people grow up in a high drama household, so it’s what they know. Others have learned to use drama to get what they want out of people. That can work for a while (as it did for my girlfriend) but eventually, it stops working (as it did for my girlfriend). Regardless of why it happens, drama is a good way to push a husband away.
