It’s a wonderfully romantic idea to say love or passion drives your marriage.

It’s also very unlikely that is the whole truth. 

What has driven your marriage? For that matter, what led you to get married? And what about your husband? How would he answer those questions? I bet your answers would be rather different if you were both totally honest. Might make for a great discussion sometime during a long drive.

Beyond what got your marriage to where it is, what would you like to be driving you forward from here? And if that’s not what is driving your marriage, how do you change that?
