Why do wives like asking husbands annoying uncomfortable questions? ~ Seen on Quora

Yeah, some guy asked that. And he’s not the only guy who has ever felt that way. I realise this is not the intent of a wife who causes her husband to feel this way, but that does not change how he feels.

I think guys have a privacy thing going when this happens. Sharing who he is feels risky because he’s been hurt in the past for being open. Maybe you’ve done that to him or maybe it was someone before you. But he’s once biten and twice shy.

If you want to get to know him better, let him know that is your goal. Then be very sure you don’t use anything he says against him, giving him a reason to not talk in the future.
