This post is about having an orgasm from intercourse. But first:

• Some (maybe most) women can’t. And that’s okay.
• Some women can but don’t want to or don’t think it’s worth the effort. That’s also okay.

All of that said, some women really want to make this happen. If that is your goal, then get hubby on board and go for it.

First, it helps to understand why many women can’t do this without some added stimulation. The short version is it depends on how close your clit is to your vagina, something over which you have no control. (For more details, see Female Anatomy and Orgasm.)

If you won the sex lottery and your body is built for this, then good foreplay and you being on top should get you there. If hubby is too fast, you can just keep going.

If you can’t do it that way, then you need to add some clitoral stimulation to the mix. Either of you can do this by hand, but that can be clumsy. An easier choice is a small vibrator slipped between your bodies so it stimulates your clitoris. I hear women worrying their husband won’t like this idea, but most men I have talked with are all about her pleasure and, if a vibrator makes it possible or better, they are down with it. You can also give him the remote and let him turn it up and down, which gives him more involvement. (And if he gets good at it, he can make it better for you!)
