If you’ve been married very long, your relationship has changed. Possibly it’s changed a great deal. Hopefully, most of those changes have been good, but most of us have lost some things we would like to have kept.

Try this approach – mention a couple of those things to your husband? Not accusingly, just “I really miss how you used to ____.” or “It sure was nice when we ____.” Then toss out “What do you miss?” If he gives you something you think you can easily do, tell him “I’ll work on that.”
Who knows, it might start a nice trend of recovering things one or both of you has allowed to fall by the wayside.
