I asked the following question over on The Marriage Bed forums:
Assuming you have a decent marriage and a good mutually enjoyed sex life, how would you feel if hubby told you he was really horny and just needed to come? He would be fine taking care of you too, but on this occasion, he is driven primarily by the desire for release and is not overly picky about how that happens.

I bring this up because most men sometimes want sex just because they feel horny and want release. It’s not that they don’t love and care for their wife and it doesn’t mean only wanting sex for an orgasm is the norm for them. But sometimes when they would not seek it for any other reason, they do want it for release. I know some women experience this, but many do not, so they can’t empathise.
The answers I got to this question were encouraging. Some rightly said things like “As long as it isn’t an all the time thing” and “when he gives all his time and attention elsewhere, breaking commitments to me, and then expects a bootie call…I have an issue.” But even those two ladies didn’t have a problem with it, in general.
Some of the other comments:
All of that is great. But I know a lot of men would be afraid to express such a need. So they either don’t ask or ask in a less than honest way.
If you’re lower or similar drive and would be fine with this, you might tell your husband you would not be offended by such a request.
