I took over most of the cooking about eight years ago. I played at it before that, but only here and there. At first, I was pretty much tethered to recipes. With time I got brave and tried a few substitutions. As I learned more about foods, flavours, and what spices worked with what, the training wheels came off.
Then on Wednesday, I made amazing avocado bacon toast from scratch with no recipe. I got the texture, flavours, and spices just right on the first try because I understood the ingredients.

Sex is a lot like cooking. When you start you have no clue and you want to cling to a few things you have figured out. But if you keep practising and experimenting, you learn what works and what doesn’t, what feels okay, and what feels amazing! You make some substations and in time you suggest something totally new.
It took me years to get to where I could create a great meal without a recipe and it took me years to understand Lori’s sexuality and how to do amazing things with and for her.
If you are recently married, know it will get better and better as you learn and practice. If you’ve been married for years and that has never happened for you, know that you can start now and get there.
~ Paul – I’m XY, and Lori thought it was amazing too!
