From time to time my wife needs my help with something that she can’t, or shouldn’t, do because of her strength or how tall she isn’t. I have no problem with this, but she once expressed feeling limited by always needing my help. I let her know I was not frustrated by this and that helped, but didn’t make it go away.
If I’m real good about doing what she needs me to do, it’s annoying to her to need me. If I were horrible about doing what she needs me to do, it would be far worse.

Where does your husband need your help? It might be information you have that he does not, such as where something is kept. It might be him doing a task you usually do and not knowing how it should be done.
When he needs your help, does he get it? Do you do it gladly or do you complain or make it seem like it’s a major sacrifice on your part? Do you want him to feel safe asking for your help?
If a man never asks for help, someone in his life has made seeking help unsafe. If you have ever done this to your husband, I suggest you address it.
And yes, for many men sex is somewhere in this. I realise it’s not the same as “Can you get that heavy box off the top shelf for me” but I can count on her vs I can’t count on her is still at play.
