Men generally don’t like condoms. It ranges from dislike to hatred.
The last couple of decades secular sources have made a real push to convince everyone condoms don’t change how sex feels. The reason for this is concerns about STDs. I suspect many women have heard things from this campaign and believed it. I assure you it’s not changing men’s minds. The reality is sex feels way better without a latex barrier between the penis and the vagina. This is even truer for men who still have their foreskin.

Most men would agree that sex with a condom is better than not having sex. A few would rather just skip it altogether or do something other than intercourse, but they are the exception.
Those things said, there are no great birth control methods other than sterilisation. Hormonal methods can cause a variety of problems, including permanently reducing a woman’s sex drive. Spermicides are ineffective and messy. Diaphragm and cervical caps are annoying to use. IUDs can destroy a fertilised egg.
All of this is to say if your hubby is using condoms to keep you from using something that could harm you or cause an abortion, thank him. Just because it’s the right thing to do doesn’t mean he likes it. Also, learn what you can do to make condom sex better for him.
