From time to time, my wife touches me in public in a way that shows she is proud of me or thinks I’m doing a good job. That. Feels. Awesome!

I suppose you could over do it, and if you make a big deal about nothing, it doesn’t work. But when your husband does something well, say or do something to let him know you saw and think it’s great.

BTW, I saw one article that said speaking well of your spouse in public “takes them off the market”. I never thought about it, but I think that’s right. It’s a loving way to say “He’s mine” and show he’s lucky to have you.
