Recently, when I thanked Lori for doing something that allowed me to do something I enjoy, she said, “I want you to enjoy life fully.”

Wow. Just wow.

Even more than that, her actions line up with those words. She has learned what I enjoy, and she looks for opportunities for me to do those things. She also makes sacrifices, so I can do what I enjoy. Her actions bless me deeply, and make me feel very loved. And, it challenges me to do the same for her.

How could you encourage your husband to enjoy his life to the fullest? Do you need to start by learning what he really enjoys? Do you need to be a bit more willing to sacrifice for his enjoyment from time to time?

It seems to me what my wife said, backed by her actions, is how love behaves. I pray we will all move closer to that ideal.
