In less than a week, the holidays are over, and we can all get back to our regularly scheduled reality.

~ Or Not ~

How is your normal reality? Is it good or improving, or is it bad and/or getting worse? Sure, you could make New Year’s resolutions, but we all know how well those last. Change is hard work, and most people resist change. If you want to see changes, it’s going to take some determined effort. You need clear goals, and solid ideas on how to accomplish those goals. 

Getting your husband on board will make it much easier. But like I said, people resist change, especially in those closest to them. If you want his help, think it out first. You need to be clear about what you want to change, and you should be able to explain to him why you need the changes. I think sanity and happiness are great reasons for wanting change, so feel free to use them. A good way to encourage him to join you is to ask him what changes he would like to see. 

Start thinking and praying now, and then come the New Year have a serious discussion about a new normal.
