The other day I heard a woman expressed great appreciation to several men, including her husband, who had done some work to fix up her property. It wasn’t just “thanks”; it was a deep, honest expression of gratitude. I’m sure it blessed every man involved.

Many men rarely hear this kind of gratitude. We don’t do things for the thanks, but not being appreciated for our efforts feels bad. So look for places to express gratitude to your husband, and go all in. Yeah, he will probably shrug it off, but inside it will really bless him.

BTW, thanking him for being a good lover is especially powerful.
