Last Friday I suggested you try to educate your husband about your sexual reality. I touched on the fact that being a woman is very different from being a man in many ways, and I want to circle back to that today.
It’s human nature to normalise our reality. We assume others’ experiences are similar to ours. Of course that’s not true for a lot of reasons, and gender differences are a big one.
The biggest issue is not how being a woman makes you different, it’s that you’re treated differently because you’re a woman. I had a number of close female friends in high school, so I’ve been aware of how women get treated since the mid-70s. It’s gotten better over the last fifty years, but all to often women still get mistreated for no other reason than being female.

If you help your husband see this, it will change how he sees you and other women. It will probably also result in a positive change in how he treats women.
The best way to do this is to show your husband your reality. He may downplay your words, so show him real life examples. When you or some other woman is dismissed, marginalised, or mistreated for being female, point it out.
