While I was gone, Lori did some things I always do. So she learned what is involved in those tasks. She mentioned one of them, and that it was more difficult than she had thought. This understanding changes how she looked at how I do it.

It’s easy to complain about how something is done if you’ve never done it, or haven’t done it in a while. And it’s easy for the one who does something all the time to dismiss anything said by someone who doesn’t do that task.

Maybe do a few of his tasks, and see if they are not as simple or straightforward as you think.
